Mercury has officially gone Direct, and I'm gloating.
Only one loud mouth, smart ass outburst this retrograde cycle, and that was in binary. So I only sounded like a pretentious jackass, and not offensive. Yay :D !
Seriously, though, I don't mind the retrograde period so much... it's just the anticipation of waiting for the slingshot-effect when it turns direct again.
I tend to hold off on making communication and luck focused oils and incense during this time, and wait until the tides are a bit more favorable. I've been meaning to post something on the actual effects that a retrograde has on your spell casting, as well as reverse-engineering correspondents to work in your favor, but it may take a bit longer than expected.
Hope you guys are well!

Glad to see that you have weathered well. :) Also glad to see you posting more on here.
I've always noticed that some people use the Mercury going retrograde as an excuse for saying things they wouldn't normally say. But, if this weekend was a part of the retrograde time period, I would have to rethink my tendency to overlook this as more than just a little astrological-projection. Basically, I've been a bit of a jerk this weekend and had the worst trouble holding on to my words and expressions. Yeah, it was pretty bad (and not only me). I'm thinking some lavender or sage will take off the edge I got while coming off of this...whatever it is.
...and if the retrograde time period did not include this past weekend...well..nevermind what I just said. :)
So, just wanted to say thanks for shedding light on this. It explains a lot. Take care!

lmao... yeah, I'm kind of a jerk during the Mercury retrograde, though I try to hold my tongue and think before I speak more during it than any other time. I usually notice it afterward, like "why am I acting like this...?", check the calender, and there it is. The transition points are usually the worst, when the planet is going in and coming out, for just about everyone.
