This past Full Moon, cupped in a juniper tree.

It's a funny thing, living in a town like Manitou. Even if you could possibly forget the night of the Full Moon, the incense and the sound of drumming pouring out of half the town would remind you.

A work in progress, still on the needles. My take on the traditional witch's hat: not a somber black, but the whirling color progression of the Wheel of the Year. Wool, with a kiss of silk and kid mohair.

The funny lumpy bits at the bottom are the brim (in progress) and will look much less ornery when bound off.
